Since few years ago, wind turbines produced noise pollution, in present, due to the evolution of technology, it has managed to reduce considerably the decibels in the following ways:

Antiphonary Platform enables noise reduction;

The multipliers are specially designed for wind turbines;

In addition it seeks to promote direct distribution without using multipliers;

Profile blades is the subject of intensive research to reduce noise caused by wind flow around the blades or the emissions from the basket or pillar.

Transmission shafts are fitted with dampers to mitigate vibration.


Each progress encountered on turbines design, manufacturing, installing and maintenance is backed by multidisciplinary teams creating and maintaining wind map databases for the entire Earth’s surface (fig.4) and efficient software for wind flow simulation. Imagination thrust and technology advances create more effective materials and more efficient shapes of turbines (fig.5 a, b, c). Either vertical or horizontal axes each turbine type has pros and cons that might influence the exploitation efficiency for wind as well for water applications (tab.1, tab.2).

It results that in these conditions wind energy is the most viable solution of obtaining electric energy, if traditional fuels run low and if it respects the new conditions of the ECO era to witch mankind is heading.


The main plus of this technology is unlike other unconventional methods; it is publicized and supported by nonprofit organizations such as Green Peace, Earth Share of Missouri, Earth Island Institute etc..
