4.AIDS diagnosis

Serious symptoms:

¨ 1. Recurrent herpes zoster.

¨ 2. Persistent cough for more than a month.

¨ 3. Candidiasis of mouth.

¨ 4. Multifocal generalized dermatitis.

¨ 5. Generalized swelling of lymph nodes.

¨ 6. Chronic progressive and disseminated simple herpes.

5. Possibilities for treatment of AIDS

Currently, certain drug for the treatment of AIDS don't exist.

6. Prevention (Ways of prevention)

The most reliable means of preventing AIDS disease is prophylaxis. The answer of the question Which are the requirements and ways to protect people from AIDS is contained in the knowledge of the basic ways and means of the infection. A basis for successful fight against AIDS is mass sexual education. The main way of prevention from HIV/AIDS is a reasonable sex life. Drug addicts who use intravenous injection should also be aware of the real dangers and to know how to prevent AIDS.

7. HIV / AIDS situation

A. Bulgaria

The distribution of HIV/AIDS in Bulgaria is still relatively limited. In the end of May 2010 officially are registered 1150 HIV-seropositive people. The analysis of the data shows that 74% of those infected are men and 26% are women. In 2002 the Ministry of Health provide the necessary and medicines were purchased for implementation of ternary antiretroviral therapy.
